"a garden with no flowers" combo

The “a garden with no flowers” combo consists of the two scents Emma Gasterland-Gustafsson created for her hauntological study of community gardens: “a garden with no flowers” and “Platicine Bouquet”.

“a garden with no flowers” is a speculative summary of the "green" smells imagined by a future disconnected from nature. A wet pile of grass, branches and foliage framed with soil and decay. A greenhouse of leaves turning back into dirt; a fresh mowed lawn after the rain.

“Platicine Bouquet” is a bouquet designed to never wilt; grown in a lab, infused with polymers. Sweet fake flowers atop rubber stems. Summer fruits, ylang ylang, peonies, and plastic.
