Excavation IV is an assemblage that illustrates the scent of time and paper through a collection of rare and obscure ephemera that either have a scent to them or alludes to a fragrance or both. The assemblage is accompanied by a scent “Excavation” that is an interpretation of the various layers of the artwork, with notes of styrax, rose, heliotrope, vintage paper and archive basement.
